The company Scholz – Ladenbau was commissioned to install the already pre-bent handrails,
having never previously installed Bendywood® handrails.
Here is an excerpt from Scholz's report:

The handrails has now been successfully installed.
At the beginning, we were very apprehensive about the bending process.
It was pleasing that the handrails could be bent well and controllably into the desired shape. We were pleasantly surprised that after removing them from the templates, there were no excessive stresses present. The tight radii in the transitions to the landings could be bent accurately and cleanly with a reasonable amount of effort. First, we bent the handrails into their final shape and placed them in prepared holder templates. This allowed the wood to acclimate freely and shrink in length. This procedure enabled an exact determination of the drilling positions for the brackets.

Overall, the entire process went extremely satisfactorily.
