PRE-BENT BENDYWOOD® HANDRAILS
IN LENGTHS UP TO 12.0 M
Bendywood® handrails Ø 30 to Ø 48 mm can be delivered pre-bent. This not only eliminates the need for bending but also the construction of elaborate bending templates.
How is that possible?
Bendywood® is compressed in length, which means it remains flexible. Therefore, it does not need to be precisely pre-bent: it can be adjusted on the railing.

Spring-back after being taken from the moulds make this possible:
- the handrails can be pre-bent flat and over-bent up to 50%: this allows space-saving shipping with manageable costs.
- exact drawings are not required. The necessary information includes the bending radii, measured flat, and the number, height, and width of the steps under the handrail.
- the handrails can be delivered pre-bent flat in the required total length of up to 12.0 m and installed on-site in a rising position on the railing.
