Glue-laminated curved part in Bendywood®-beech:
This curved part is composed of 5 layers of saw-cut veneer in Bendywood®-beech: 3 mm thick, 200 mm wide and 1,5 meters long.
The bending mould shown in the picture is about 200 mm high and with angles r = 60 mm.

There is no need for a matching counter-mould!

In the first working phase the five layers of bendable wood are being clamped together aroud the mould without glue.
After cutting to measure every layer in its length, you clamp all the layers together again with PU-glue.

The saw-cut veneer are sanded only at surface-level.
Use only a PU-glue with an open time of about 50 minutes.
