Handrail:

Raw section 80x50x6000 mm in Bendywood® American walnut, custom milled by the customer to obtain the desired section shape.

The handrail was cut in half (vertically) and then bent and glued in the desired form by hand.    

Cost: about 230 euro/meter (vertical jointed sections)

Volute – newel post:

The volute was made from normal American walnut on a 5-axis CNC router.
