The ascending spiral bent handrail part with 1,5 m radius was pre-bent in our workshop on a flat bending mould (also see the demo video). On these flat bending moulds the bent handrails were transported to the building site, where they were provisionally fixed to the handrail brackets.

The straight handrail sections at the landing transitions were bent on site by hand, directly onto the handrail brackets.

This pre-assembly process, including the round-trip to the building site, was accomplished by 2 workers within 8 hours.

Finally, the handrails were finished with a special protective varnish by the specialist company Reichhalter from San Genesio Atesino, which also mounted the handrails onto the pins of the handrail brackets and provided the handrail ends with the 90 degree end pieces.
