Rectangular handrail 100x50 mm in Bendywood®-beech

At 8% wood moisture the profile was planed on four sides to 96x48 mm
with rounded edges (R = 5 mm)

Cost: about 105 euro/meter (vertical jointed handrail)

After the machining the wood moisture of the handrail was raised to about 12% using the „Sandwich method”.

The handrail was pre-bent against the inner stair string and subsequently provisionally fixed to the opposite wall brackets. After 2 weeks the handrail was taken off, painted white and only then screwed to the brackets.
